STICHTING WE STAND WITH UKRAINE

Ivan Pitelyak

DIRECTOR OF THE FUND

Ivan Pitelyak, better known as Ivan Storm. Born on July 29, 1986, in the city of Kosiv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Ukraine. I received my education at the Kosiv Secondary School, which I graduated from in 2001. In 2007, I completed my studies at the Sniatyn Technical College of the Podilsky State Agrarian and Technical University, specializing in Law.

My professional career began as a security guard in the security service of the Epicentr hypermarket in Ivano-Frankivsk, where I worked from February 2008 to December 2009.

Since 2018, I have been cooperating on a voluntary basis with the fighters of the Azov Regiment, following a calling of the heart.

With the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, I became actively involved in volunteer work supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine, particularly the Azov Corps. I organized fundraising campaigns, purchased essential items for the military, supported orphanages and children with disabilities, and personally transported humanitarian aid across the border about twenty times, delivering it to volunteers and soldiers.

In July 2022, I decided to establish my own charitable organization, Stichting We Stand With Ukraine (We Stand With Ukraine).

Since 2023, I have been performing at numerous events and concerts across Europe as the voice of the captured Azov soldiers — the defenders of Mariupol who held their ground for 86 days, 82 of which were under complete encirclement.

From 2022 to 2025, I also organized football and volleyball tournaments aimed at raising international awareness about the plight of the captured Azov fighters.

Kateryna Serediuk

VOLUNTEER

Kateryna Serediuk

Born on July 21, 1998 in the village of Krupa in the Volyn region.

I completed my education at Krupivska Secondary School, which I graduated from in 2013.

In 2017, I obtained my diploma from the Lutsk Pedagogical College, specializing in Primary Education. I chose this field because it combines a love for children, humanity, and a deep sense of responsibility.

From 2017 to 2020, I worked at the company TOV “RUSH” as a floor administrator in the city of Lutsk. During this time, I gained valuable experience in working with people and learned to be attentive, communicative, and responsible.

When the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine began in February 2022, I could not stand aside. From the very first days of the war, I joined the volunteer movement, helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilians affected by the fighting. For me, this became a matter of the heart — an expression of sincere care, compassion, and the desire to support everyone in need.

In 2025, I joined the charitable organization Stichting We Stand With Ukraine to continue my volunteer work, support humanitarian initiatives, assist Ukrainian soldiers, and help bring Ukraine’s victory closer.

I sincerely believe that even one good deed can change a person’s life. And together, we can change the destiny of our country. My life is an example of the fact that the strength of Ukraine lies in the people who do not remain indifferent when help is needed.

My hobby is reciting poetry in Ukrainian. Through poetry, I express what I feel with my heart and soul. In every word, I strive to convey sincerity, love for my homeland, and an inner light — the light that helps us move forward even in the most difficult times.

Mariana Kolachko

VOLUNTEER

Mariana Kolachko, an evacuation volunteer known by the callsign “Lviv Witch.” Born on 24 August 1993 in Lviv. I received my education at Secondary School No. 67 in Lviv, which I completed in 2010. That same year, I enrolled at the Lviv University of Internal Affairs, where I studied at the Faculty of Law in the program Investigator of Inquiry Bodies. After completing my Master’s degree in 2016, I obtained the rank of Lieutenant.

My professional career began at the Zalyznychnyi District Police Department, where I worked from 2017 to 2019.

My volunteering journey started in 2014, during the Revolution of Dignity. My first unit consisted of medics who left Maidan and headed toward the Donetsk Airport area.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I have continued supporting soldiers and civilians with everything necessary for survival. Starting in April 2022, in addition to providing humanitarian aid, I began deploying to deliver first emergency medical assistance to the wounded on the battlefield. Afterwards, I formed a team of volunteers who helped evacuate both the wounded and fallen soldiers (“On the Shield”). This is how our volunteer evacuation group for the wounded and for those returning “On the Shield” was established.
